Since our founding as the Spokane Parks and Recreational Foundation in 1952, the Spokane Parks Foundation has worked hard to give to our community and deliver concrete results. From our first efforts to support City of Spokane parks, to our leadership in public space beautification and use throughout Greater Spokane, our history reflects our ability to rally support and promote neighborhood and downtown revitalization.

Over the past 60 years we have invested well over $2,000,000 in grants and projects – ranging from the planting of trees, to scholarships for low-income children, to the creation and installment of the Runners in the Park sculpture, the development of the South Hill Soccer Complex and the support of numerous fairs, festivals and community celebrations.
